Both the Oregon State men's and women's golf teams are in eighth place after two rounds of the Oregon Duck Invitational on Monday. The tournament ends after one more round on Tuesday.

Julie Uhrik leads the women with a tie for eighth place, and she shot a 150 (78-72) today. The women have a total of 623. The co-leaders are Oregon and Washington State at 600. The women's leader is Kim Welch of Washington State at 1-under 143.

Other OSU women's players are Jessi Gebhardt (tied for 30th, 78-78=156), Jill Ferrante (tied for 30th, 78-78=156), Alex Lucio (tied for 57th, 82-81=163) and Kelly Kerkvliet (tied for 60th, 85-79=164).

'We did better in the afternoon, which is good,' OSU Coach Rise Lakowske said. 'All in all, we did a good job. We didn't really struggle on the greens, which can be tricky. We seemed to putt well and had a lot of tap-ins. Julie played very well.'

The OSU men are paced by Ryan Gilmour, who is tied for 11th with a one-under 143 (71-72). The men have a total of 584, while Georgia Tech leads the tournament with a 572. Michael Putnam of Pepperdine is the top individual with an 8-under 136.

Other OSU men's players are Cameron MacKenzie (tied for 16th, 74-70=144), Brad Simpson (tied for 42nd, 71-77=148), Vincent Johnson (tied for 65th, 78-74=152) and Tim Sundseth (tied for 74th, 79-74=153).
