No. 18 California Draws Even with No. 35 Pepperdine, 3-3

Berkeley - The match between the No. 18 California women's tennis team and No. 35 Pepperdine was called early due to poor weather, finishing with the two teams even at 3-3.

Cal had a trio of freshmen record wins. Court two saw Stephanie Kusano outlast Natalie Braverman, 6-1; 3-6; 6-2. Freshman Marion Ravelojaona won in three sets on court three, defeating Sylvia Kosakowski, 7-6; 4-6; 6-3. Cristina Visico was dominant on court five, winning in straight sets over Lise Sissler, 6-0; 6-2.

The Golden Bears are scheduled to play Northwestern Tuesday, March 22 at 12 noon at the Hellman Tennis Center.
