Softball Rained Out At Cal State Fullerton

FULLERTON, Calif.-- The 14th-ranked Washington softball team (16-9) was rained out at Cal State Fullerton (9-10) this afternoon to wrap-up a seven-day road trip to southern California.

The Huskies went 2-2 at the Kia Klassic last weekend, defeating Penn State and DePaul and falling to No. 18 Nebraska and No. 24 Fresno State.

Washington is idle this weekend and will open the Pac-10 season at the Oregon schools April 1-2. The Huskies open vs. Oregon on Friday, April 1 at 3 pm and will play at Oregon State on April 2-3.

The Huskies' games at Oregon and Oregon State will be broadcast by Pioneer Radio and Sports on KKNW 1150 AM.
