USC Competes Up And Down The Coast This Weekend

The USC men's and women's track teams head up north this weekend to compete in the 2005 Nike Stanford Track & Field Invitational on Friday, March 25 and Saturday, March 26 in Palo Alto, CA.
Thousands of high school, college, and professional athletes will compete at Stanford's Cobb Track and Angell Field during this two-day track and field extravaganza. The list of past champions and meet record holders include a who's who of American Track and Field, including Gail Devers, Ron Bramlett, and Nicole Teter. Last year's meet produced more than 200 NCAA Regional and Division I automatic qualifiers.
A partial Trojans squad will compete in the two-day event, including the distance runners, women's sprinters, throwers and jumpers.
The men and women pole vaulters travel down south to San Diego to compete in the UCSD Collegiate Open on Saturday.
The Trojan men sprinters are resting up this weekend and will not compete again until the Texas Relays on Friday, April 1 in Austin.
