Men's Golf Tied For Third After First Round In Tucson

The Arizona State men's golf team is tied for third after the first 18 holes of the National Invitational Tournament held in Tucson. ASU shot an 8-under 280 and is four shots back of leader TCU. Pat Moore led ASU with a 4-under 68, which is tied for eighth.

Jesse Mueller shot a 3-under 69 and is tied for 13th while Alejandro Canizares is tied for 17th at 2-under 70.

Niklas Lemke is tied for 48th at 1-over 73 while Charly Simon is at 3-over 75 and tied for 61st. Phil Telliard, playing as an individual, shot an even 72.

The Tournament continues with 18 holes both Monday and Tuesday.
