Jesse Mueller Shoots Final Round 66 To Lead Men's Golf Team

Jesse Mueller shot a final round 6-under 66 to finish tied for fourth at the National Invitational Tournament held in Tucson. Mueller's 66 on Tuesday followed opening rounds of 69 and 72 as ASU finished tied for ninth at 5-under 859 (280-292-287), as TCU won the event with a 26-under 838.
Pat Moore (68-74-75) and Alejandro Canizares (70-73-74) finished at 1-over 217, while Niklas Lemke finished tied for 50th at 2-over 218. Moore was at 2-under on par-3 scoring for the tournament, tied for the second-best mark in the field and he also posted 13 birdies in the tournament.
Charly Simon was ill and did not finish his round on Tuesday after shooting 6-over 150 (75-75) the first two days.
Phil Telliard, playing as an individual, finished tied for 27th at 2-under 214 (72-71-71).
