Season Outlook: Cal returns five members from the 2004 varsity eight squad that took second at the Pac-10 championships: seniors Deaglan McEachern and Troy Keeper and juniors Peter Maiden, Gary Champagne and Vaclav Vochoska. This year's varsity eight should be much improved over last year's squad with rowers from the 2004 undefeated freshman squad joining its boats. With the experience of last year's success, the result has been a dynamic group that has proven to be a crew with a great hopes for the coming year.
