Kozak Earns Pac-10 All-Academic First Team Honor

USC senior co-captain Marisa Kozak was named to the Pac-10 All-Academic first team for the third year in a row to headline a group of nine women's and men's swimmers and divers who earned conference academic honors.

Kozak, an All-American in 2005, earned her third Pac-10 All-Academic first team nod with a 3.80 GPA. She majors in communications with minors in Russian language, digital imaging and design communication.

Fellow senior co-captain and 2005 All-American Joanna Fargus earned second team honors (her third academic notice overall), as did junior diver Blythe Hartley (first team in 2003) and sophomore swimmer Connor Hall.

Sophomore Cait Connealy, sophomore Bree Deters, junior Sheva Khalafbeigi, sophomore Kristina Sieper and sophomore Larsen Jensen all received honorable mention honors.
