Salem, Ore. - Oregon State women's track brought home strong finishes for the Beavers in this weekend's meet at the Willamette Invitational. Two runners placed in OSU's all-time top ten list in the 5,000 meters while the Beavers brought home multiple second place finishes.

On Friday, Ashley Younce and Neoma Palmer finished the 5,000 in second and fourth place respectively out of 58 runners, while placing in the top ten all-time finishers list in the event for OSU. Younce's time of 17:19.8 placed her fifth on the all-time list while Palmer's time of 17:38.6 placed her seventh. 'I liked the progress we are making going into the meets and placing well,' OSU head coach Kelly Sullivan said. 'The highlights were performances from the girls last night in the 5,000, with Ashley and Neoma making our top ten-all time list.'
