This Week: California will face three crews ranked in the Top 10 of the USRowing Collegiate poll as the Golden Bears try to repeat their dominating performance from the past two years. Cal will use the Windermere to prepare for the upcoming dual meets versus Washington (April 23) and Stanford (April 30).

Cal's Schedule: Cal's varsity eight takes on No. 11 Oregon State in its first race of the Windermere Crew Classic at Redwood Shores, followed by races against No. 7 Yale and No. 13 Wisconsin.

The Field: The No. 2 Bears are the highest ranked men's crew at this year's regatta. No. 3 Washington, No. 6 Dartmouth and No. 7 Yale are also ranked in the Top 10; Michigan, Oregon State, Stanford and Wisconsin are ranked in the top 20.

Last year at the Windermere Crew Classic: Cal swept the competition by winning all its races in convincing fashion over North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Princeton, Sac State, Stanford and Yale.

San Diego Crew Classic Recap (April 2-3, 2005): For the third year in a row the Bears rose to the occasion to win the Copley Cup at the annual San Diego Crew Classic. Cal won races against No. 5 Navy, No. 8 Northeastern, No. 14 Stanford, No. 15 Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Purdue and UC Davis. The Bears dominated the regatta, posting winning times in all three grand final races.
