Pribble on Pac-10 All-Academic Squad

April 4, 2005

BERKELEY - Sophomore guard Alex Pribble, who sports a 3.18 GPA as an undeclared major, has been named to the 2004-05 second team Pac-10 All-Academic squad, the conference announced Monday.

Pribble, a second-year walk-on, appeared in 20 games for the Bears this past season, scoring 15 points and grabbing nine rebounds.

This marks the fifth consecutive year that Cal has sported at least one member of the Pac-10 All-Academic team, a feat matched only by Arizona State. Since the 2000-01 season, Bears have been honored with first- or second-team status eight times.
