LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Trojan All-American right-hander Ian Kennedy pitched a complete game shutout and added a career high 15 strikeouts as USC rolled by UCLA, 9-0 Saturday afternoon at Dedeaux Field. Hector Estrella and Darin Vieira contributed RBI base hits in the Trojan fourth before USC broke the game open with three more hits in the fifth.

The bottom third of the Trojans' lineup is 11-for-19 in the first two games of this weekend's series.

UCLA (7-20, 0-5) did not commit an error for the third straight game.

Kennedy improves to 5-1 while Ambriz drops to 2-3 with the loss.
