Beavers Continue To Impress At The Oregon Mini-Meet
April 9, 2005
Eugene, Ore. - Oregon State women's track returned from the Oregon Mini-Meet with strong finishes in the 1,500 meters and the 800 meters this Saturday. The meet began at 9 a.m., marking the earliest starting time for the Beavers this season.
'The ladies ran very well today,' OSU head coach Kelly Sullivan said. 'Normally the meets start at 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. in the afternoon, last week the ladies were running at night. To actually have been on the starting line this early in the morning and for them to have run as well as they did, I was really very pleased.'
'I was really pleased with Neoma and Taylor today,' Sullivan said. 'Taylor has been sick for three weeks, so we had a good day today.'
'We started the season off winning events, and now we have gotten runner up the last couple of meets,' Sullivan said. 'This fact really did not faze the ladies today.'
