Bruins Tied for Sixth Entering Final Round at Cowboy Classic

The UCLA Blue Team was tied for sixth place as Tuesday's final round began at the Third Annual Cowboy Classic, hosted by the University of Wyoming at Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ.
On Monday, the Bruins posted rounds of 288 and 287 for a 36-hole score of 575 (+15). Texas El Paso was the first-round leader at 564 (+4), followed by Wyoming, which was tied for second with Drake University at 567 (+7). Utah and UC Davis were tied for fourth at 570 (+10) and Arizona was tied with UCLA.
Freshman Matt Marshall was tied for 12th at 142 (+2) after rounds of 72-70 and senior John Poucher was tied for 18th at 143 (+3) after carding rounds of 69-74. Freshman Craig Leslie and Brandon Christianson were tied for 34th at 145 (+5). Leslie posted rounds of 73-72 and Christianson added rounds of 74-71.
Drake's Mike Schnegelberger owned the first round lead at 136 (-4) after posting rounds of 69-67.
