Huskies Finish 10th at U.S. Intercollegiate

Stanford, CA - The 26th-ranked Washington men's golf team finished 10th in the 18-team field at the U.S. Intercollegiate held at the Stanford Golf Course. It was Washington's final regular-season tournament. The Huskies shot 882, including a 294 during the final round. USC ran away with the championship trophy, shooting 6-over 846 over the 54-hole event. The Trojans defeated second-place San Diego State by 17 strokes.
Washington was led by Junior James Lepp, who had rounds of 76, 72 and 71 to placed 25th at 9-over 219. Alex Prugh was 36th at 222 while Zach Bixler and Sterling Clark tied for 39th at 223. Erik Olson was 54th at 225.
Arizona State's Pat Moore beat Stanford's Rob Grube by one stroke to claim medalist honors. Moore shot 2-under 208, including a 67 during the final round.
The Huskies are off until the Pac-10 Championships April 25-27 at Walla Walla Country Club.
