Doubles Duo Of Kazarian And Van't Hof Advance To The Semifinals In The Men's Doubles Invitational

Ojai, Calif. - USC's Jeff Kazarian and Kaes Van't Hof teamed up to reach the semifinals of the men's doubles invitational at the 2005 Pac-10 Championships on Friday, April 22, in Ojai, Calif. Van't Hof was earlier eliminated in the quarterfinals of the men's singles main draw.

Kazarian and Van't Hof advanced to the semifinals with victories over Arizona's duo of Tim Mullane and Francois Vandermerwe, 8-3, in the first round and Stanford's team of Phil Kao and David Ryan, 8-3, in the quarterfinals. This week's Pac-10 Championships mark Kazarian's return to the court as he's had to battle injuries all season.

Troy's 45th-ranked doubles team of Drew Hoskins and Adam Loucks fell 8-4 to the Wildcats' Roger Matalonga and Colin O' Grady in the first round of the men's main draw.

The Pac-10 Tournament continues tomorrow with singles play at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Libbey Park for both the men and the women. Doubles matches are slated for a 2 p.m.
