Quoting Murph [11th year head coach Pat Murphy talks about ASU's series loss to No. 6 Oregon State]
'It was a good college baseball series and we had a chance to win all three games, but just couldn't get that big hit on Sunday. Oregon State played outstanding defense and pitched really well and deserved to win that final game. We really had only a few bad innings the whole weekend and that cost us the series. OSU is a very good team and showed why they are in the top 10. We've seen all the good teams across the country and they are right up there and it shows just how good this conference is. We have some big league games left and still have a chance to achieve our goal of winning the Pac-10. We have played a great schedule and have had pretty good success against that schedule. We need to keep getting better every weekend and finish up strong.'
