Burduli Named Pac-10 Tennis Honorable Mention

PULLMAN, Wash - Washington State women's tennis freshman Ekaterina Burduli was named Pacific-10 Conference Honorable Mention, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced May 6.

The Tel Aviv, Israel native compiled 15 singles victories this season and led the Cougars in dual match victories with 14.

She was selected as the fifth alternate Thursday for the NCAA Singles Championship in Athens, Ga., May 23-28.

Burduli is the third Cougar tennis player to garner Pac-10 honors. Erica Perkins was a second team selection in 1999, 2001 and 2002 while Stacy McKenna earned honorable mention in 2002.
