Men's Golf No. 9 Seed In NCAA West Region

USC's men's golf team, led by senior All-American Ben Hayes, is seeded ninth in the NCAA West Region, the NCAA announced on Monday (May 9).

The Trojans will be among 27 teams to play at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif., May 19-21 and are among 81 teams in region action. The top 10 teams from each of the the 27-school West, Central and East Regions will advance to the NCAA Championships, June 1-4, at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md. Loyola College (Maryland) is the host institution for this year's championships.

The final three rounds of the 2005 championships will be televised by The Golf Channel. Daily coverage (June 2-4) will be from 3-5 p.m. EST.
