May 9, 2005

The Arizona State men's golf team has been selected as one of the 81 teams that will participate in the 2005 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships, as the Sun Devils will compete in the Western Regional May 19-21 at Stanford.

Three regional tournaments (Eastern, Central and Regional) will be conducted May 19-21. A total of 27 teams and six individuals not on selected teams were assigned to each regional site. Ten teams and two individuals not on advancing teams will move on from each regional to the championship finals.

The NCAA Championships will be conducted June 1-4 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Maryland. Loyola College (Maryland) is the host institution for this year's championships. The final three rounds of the 2005 championships will be televised by The Golf Channel. Daily coverage (June 2-4) will be from 3-5 p.m. EST (11 a.m.-2 p.m. Arizona Time).
