No. 1 Stanford Takes 1-0 Lead Over Harvard

Athens, Ga. - Top-seeded Stanford took a 1-0 lead over Harvard this morning in the NCAA Women's Tennis Championships Round of 16 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex on the campus of the University of Georgia.

The Cardinal won the doubles point with Amber Liu and Anne Yelsey coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the first match, 8-3, while Alice Barnes and Erin Burdette worked for the 8-1 win on court two to secure the Cardinal point.
