SUNRIVER, Ore. - No. 24 California is in fifth place Thursday after three rounds of the NCAA Championships at the Meadows Course at Sunriver Resort. Top-ranked Duke climbed from fifth to first after a commanding six-under third-round score of 278. The Blue Devils are at 21-over 873, and No. 3 Auburn is second at 881, followed by No. 2 UCLA (882) and No. 4 Pepperdine (885).
