CSTV to Air Michigan-Washington Super Regional Live

SEATTLE- College Sports Television has chosen the Washington-Michigan softball Super Regional as one of four to be nationally televised. The Huskies won their eighth regional championship last Sunday with a 2-0 victory over Iowa and will face top-ranked Michigan in the best-of-three series.
Game one of the series will be Friday, May 27 at 4 pm (PST), while game two will be held on Saturday, May 28 at 11 am. If a third game is necessary, it will begin on Saturday at 2 pm.
This will be Washington's fifth television appearance of the season and its first on CSTV. The Huskies had two televised games on FSN and two on ESPN.
The Washington-Michigan series winner will earn a trip to the Women's College World Series, which will be held June 2-8 in Oklahoma City, Okla. The Huskies have made seven appearances at the College World Series, including the 2003 and 2004 seasons, and have been the national runner-up twice (1996, 1999).
