CORVALLIS, Ore. - Fans are invited to join Oregon State's baseball team on Monday morning to watch the selection show for the NCAA Regionals. The Beavers will gather at 8 a.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn, adjacent to the OSU campus, to see the announcement of the 64-team field; the brackets will be unveiled on ESPN2 starting at 8:30 a.m.

'We're grateful for the lift our fans have given us these past several seasons, and we want to have them be a part of finding out what our NCAA Regional is going to look like,' OSU head coach Pat Casey said. Complimentary beverages and pastries will be served at the gathering.

The Beavers will scrimmage under game conditions at 5 p.m. Friday at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, and OSU fans are also invited to meet the team after the baseball action concludes. Players and coaches will be available to talk, sign autographs and have pictures taken.

OSU his hoping to be selected as one of the 16 host schools for the NCAA Regionals. The sites for the NCAA Regionals will be announced Sunday at 12:30 p.m. on ESPN2.

The Beavers (41-9 overall, 19-5 Pacific-10) are already assured of at least a tie for the Pac-10 title, pending the outcome of this weekend's series between Arizona and California in Tucson. If Cal wins any of the three games, OSU wins the title outright; if the Wildcats sweep the Bears, then Oregon State and Arizona will share the title.
