250 Tourney Passes Remain For Baseball Regional
May 31, 2005
CORVALLIS, Ore. - Approximately 250 general admission tournament passes remain for the NCAA Baseball Corvallis Regional that will be hosted by Oregon State this weekend at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. All reserved seats are sold out for the tournament; if the remaining tournament passes are sold, there will be no single-game ticket sales for the event.
It is possible that more tickets could become available if the other schools in the Corvallis Regional - Virginia, St. John's and Ohio State - return some of their allotment. Those tickets would become available Thursday morning and could be a mixture of both reserved grandstand and general admission bleacher seats.
The four-team, double-elimination tournament runs Friday through Sunday or Monday, depending on whether six or seven games are needed to determine a champion.
The remaining bleacher general admission tournament passes are $48 for adults and $36 for students. The student admission prices are for OSU students, students from other schools in the tournament, and children ages 2 through 18.
The OSU athletic ticket office will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. to take orders. Tickets can be purchased in person in Gill Coliseum Room 107 or by telephone at 1-800-GO BEAVS or 541-737-4455; there will be a $10 service charge for phone orders.
Fans ordering their full-tournament tickets by phone can pick them up Thursday at Gill Coliseum Room 107 or Friday at the ballpark's Will Call window.
