Husky Golfers Earn Academic Honors

Seattle - Several members of Washington's men's and women's golf teams have been honored by the Pac-10 Conference as selections to its All-Academic Team. The group includes three male golfers and two females.

NCAA Champion James Lepp was a first-team selection for the UW men. Lepp, a junior, boasts a 3.32 GPA as a business administration major. Senior Travis Andrews was a second-team pick. He has a 3.39 GPA, also in business. Sophomore Alex Prugh was an honorable mention selection.

Paige Mackenzie was a first-team honoree for the women's program. She has a 3.63 GPA in business administration. It marks the third straight year Mackenzie has been named to the All-Academic squad. She was a second-team member as a freshman and sophomore. Sophomore Ashley Bickerton was a second-team pick.
