Super Regional Rematch

TEMPE, Ariz. (www.TheSunDevils.com) -- For the fourth time in the last five seasons, Arizona State's Road to Omaha will have to go through Goodwin Field and the defending national champion Cal State Fullerton Titans.

Fullerton climbed out of the loser's bracket in their own regional by winning three straight games, including Monday's 6-3 win over Arizona in the regional final to advance to the Super Regionals against Arizona State. The Sun Devils cruised through their regional winning their three games by a combined score of 29-14. The Super Regional dates will either be Friday-Saturday-Sunday (June 10-12) or Saturday-Sunday-Monday (June 11-13).

Times and dates for the Super Regional will be announced Tuesday morning at 9 a.m. on ESPN's 'Bottom Line' ticker. Information on tickets and game times will also be announced on ASU's official athletic website, www.thesundevils.com.

Arizona State will be making its second trip to the Sweet 16 of college baseball in the last three years. They are one of three Pac-10 teams to advance to the Super Regionals, as Oregon State and USC will face off for a trip to the College World Series.
