Baseball Series Will Be Heard In Portland Area

CORVALLIS, Ore. - KUIK-AM (1360) in Hillsboro will broadcast Oregon State's NCAA Baseball Super Regional against Southern California in the Portland area, OSU and Beaver Sports Properties were pleased to announce Wednesday. In addition, KEX-AM (1190) will air updates with sports director Scott Lynn every 30 minutes on the hour and on the half-hour during the games.

No. 2 Oregon State (44-9 overall) and No. 18 Southern California (40-20) will play a best-of-three series at OSU's Goss Stadium at Coleman Field, with the winner advancing to the College World Series. The Beavers and Trojans will play Saturday at 7 p.m., Sunday at 6 p.m. and, if necessary, Monday at 4 p.m.; the series is sold out.

All games in the series will be televised by ESPN2, and OSU's audio broadcast can also be heard on www.osubeavers.com and www.yahoo.com for a small fee. Live stats can be seen at www.osubeavers.com and www.ncaasports.com.
