College World Series Information

Game Schedule -- Arizona State will face the University of Nebraska on Friday, June 17 at a time TBA (either 1 or 6 p.m. CST). All games in the CWS will be televised by ESPN, either on ESPN or ESPN2 and televised in high definition. A complete TV and game schedule will be released when it becomes available.

Media Credentials -- All media credential requests must be made through the Arizona State Sports Information office and Jeff Evans by Monday at 1 p.m. I need to get the request into the NCAA Office and make sure everything is in order. ASU's normal covering media will get first priority on parking and seating in the Rosenblatt Stadium Press Box. Please forward all credential and parking request to me at jeff.evans@asu.edu. This is for media only.

Pre-CWS Press Conference -- The official Pre-College World Series press conference featuring he head coaches from all eight participating teams will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. (CST) in the Hall of Fame Room at Rosenblatt Stadium. The press conference is also scheduled to air live on ESPNU and CSTV. Satellite coordinates for the press conference replay will also be provided and will be posted on the NCAA website (www.ncaa.org or www.ncaasports.com). Press conference quotes from Coach Murphy and the other seven coaches will be provided on www.NCAASports.com. If you wish to have the quotes e-mailed to you and you are not already on my e-mail list, please contact me or Alex Ryan (alex.ryan@asu.edu).

Ticket Information -- For ticket information, fans should visit www.cwsofomaha.com, or call Herb Hames at 402-351-5045. Herb can reached via email at Herb.Hames@mutualofomaha.com. Fans may also call 402-554-4404 or email cwsofomaha@qwest.net for additional ticket information. General admission books can be ordered online, and reserved seats are available everyday over and above the team allotments. ASU's official website, www.thesundevils.com, will also have information on tickets and travel packages.

The Sun Devil Ticket Office will be accepting requests for CWS tickets on Monday morning from 9 am to 12 noon, at 480.727.0000. Once all the requests are in, the ticket office will determine, based on priority points, who is able to purchase tickets. Those that are able to purchase will be contacted Monday afternoon, at payment is due at that time. The number of tickets available is very limited, so a request does not guarantee tickets. All tickets will be available in will call in Omaha prior to ASU's first game.
