Lee Qualifies for Pub Links

Seattle - Washington junior women's golfer Sung Ea Lee of Tacoma finished first at the Sectional Qualifer held at Meadowpark Golf Course to earn a spot in this year's U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. Lee shot 74 to tie Everett's Renee Skidmore for top honors.

This year's championship will be played July 11-16 at Swope Memorial Golf Club in Kansas City, Mo. The U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship is open to female golfers who have been bona fide public- course players since Jan. 1 of the current championship year. There is no limit on the Handicap Index. It is one of 13 national championships conducted annually by the USGA and it's the only competition for which there is no USGA Handicap Index limit.
