2005 Cross Country Schedule Is Announced

The UCLA cross country teams will compete in three invitationals in southern California as part of the Bruins' 2005 schedule, announced on Friday (June 17) by head coach Eric Peterson.

UCLA will open the season on Sept. 3 at the CS Fullerton Invitational at Carbon Canyon Park in Brea, and will also compete at the UC San Diego Invitational (campus course) on Oct. 8 and at the Fullerton Invitational (campus course) on Oct. 21.

The 2005 Pac-10 Championships will be Oct. 29 and hosted by the University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ/Randolf Golf Course); the 2005 NCAA West Region Championships will be Nov. 12, hosted by Stanford University (Palo Alto/campus golf course) and the 2005 NCAA Championships will be Nov. 21, hosted by Indiana State University (Terre Haute, IN/Wabash Family Sports Center). Indiana State, also the host of the 2004 NCAA Championships, will host the Pre-NCAA Invitational on Oct. 15.
