Mackenzie Finishes Second at Colorado Open

Denver, CO - Washington junior All-American golfer Paige Mackenzie tied for second at the Colorado Open that finished today at the Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver. Mackenzie completed the 54-hole event at 4-over 220. Erin Kerr of Phoenix won the tournament at 2-under 214.

The Colorado Open was a warm up for Mackenzie's appearance in next week's U.S. Women's Open that will be played at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Color. Earlier this week Mackenzie tied for first at the Sectional Qualifier at the Denver Country Club.

Mackenzie's older brother, Brock, is scheduled to carry her bag during the Open. Last year he competed in the Men's U.S. Open. The U.S. Women's Open will take place June 23-26.
