High Noon in Louisville -- Game Time Set for NOON EDT

Corvallis, Ore. - ESPN has announced the football game between the Louisville Cardinals and Oregon State Beavers from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville will kickoff at Noon EDT (9 a.m. PDT) Sat., Sept. 17. The contest will be televised by either ESPN or ESPN2.

The announcement gives OSU four nationally televised games as of June 21. The Beavers make their first national television appearance of the season Sept. 10 at Reser Stadium against Boise State on FSN. Oregon State also has a Sept. 24 TBS appearance at home against Arizona State and FSN will air the 109th Civil War from Autzen Stadium Nov. 19. Future television broadcasts will be announced throughout the course of the season.

This will be the first meeting between the Cardinals, a first-year member of the Big East Conference, and the Beavers. Louisville will play at Oregon State in a yet to be determined season.

The Beavers open the 2005 campaign and the new-look Reser Stadium Sat., Sept. 3 against the Portland State Vikings. Louisville opens the year Sept. 4 at Kentucky followed by a bye.
