Anderson Named Assistant Director of Championships, Niemi Promoted to Championships Programs Manager

Kevin D. Anderson has been named Assistant Director of Championships by the Pacific-10 Conference, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced.
Bri Niemi, a member of the staff since 2002, has been promoted to Championships Programs Manager.
Anderson comes to the Conference from Harvard University, where he has served as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications since 2003. Prior to Harvard, Anderson was a public relations assistant with the Ivy League and a public relations intern at Yale University. At the Pac-10, he will be responsible for championship administration and the administration of sports programs, and will serve as Conference liaison for several sports. He is a Communications Arts graduate of Framingham (Mass.) State College.
Niemi joined the Pac-10 as a public relations intern in 2002 and has been an administrative assistant in the championships department since 2003. In her new position, she will assist in the administration of the championships and awards programs, serve as the staff liaison for men's and women's tennis and assume responsibility for the planning of the Conference's two major annual meetings. Niemi is a 2002 graduate of the University of Washington.
