ASU Standout Amy LePeilbet Invited to Team USA Training Camp

Former ASU student-athlete Amy LePeilbet (Crystal Lake, Ill.) has been named to the U.S. Women?s National Team for its match up against Iceland on July 24, Team USA coach Greg Ryan announced today.
 
LePeilbet, a four-year letterman for head coach Ray Leone from 2000-2003, played for Team USA in their June 26th matchup against Canada earlier this year. LePeilbet earned a cap during the 2-0 victory at Virginia Beach, Va. At ASU, she led the Sun Devils to the second round of the NCAA tournament in three of her four seasons (2000, 2002, 2003) and is considered one of the most decorated players in ASU history, earning first-team All-American honors in her senior year. She is also one of only three Academic All-Americans in school history, earning the honor twice, as a third-team selection in 2002 and again as a first-team selection in 2003.
