ASU To Host Camp Tontozona Invitational Golf Tournament August 15th-16th

Tempe, Ariz. - Arizona State University and the Sun Angel Foundation will be hosting the Camp Tontozona Invitational Golf Tournament at The Rim Golf Club in Payson, Ariz. on August 15th and 16th, 2005. The tournament coincides with the Sun Devil football team's arrival at Camp Tontozona for their annual training camp retreat prior to the season.
The tournament will be limited to 72 players and all proceeds will benefit the ASU football program. Entry fees are $1,000 per foursome or $300 individually and include golf for both days at The Rim Club, lunch, dinner, and cocktails at the The Rim, and a tee gift.
The first round (August 15th) features a 9:00 a.m. MST shotgun start and will include a two-person scramble format, with a shoot-out round for qualifying teams. Lunch, dinner and cocktails will be provided at The Rim Club.
The second round (August 16th) features an 8:00 a.m. MST shotgun start and will be a two-person best ball scramble format.
Following the second round on Tuesday, Golfers are invited to watch the Sun Devil Football team's practice at Camp Tontozona from 4:00-6:00 p.m. and then join head coach Dirk Koetter and his staff for dinner following the practice.
