Tara Kirk And Kristen Caverly Tie For Sixth In 200 Breast At FINA World Championships

Montreal, Canada - Former Stanford swimmer Tara Kirk (2000-04) and current Stanford swimmer Kristen Caverly (2005-06 senior) tied for sixth in the finals of the 200 meter breast at the 2005 FINA World Championships on Friday. Both swimmers clocked in with an identical time of 2:28.60.

Australian Leisel Jones set a long-course meters world record (2:21.72) to win the event.
