USC Soccer Picked No. 2 In Pac-10 Poll

The USC women's soccer team continues to command respect for the upcoming 2005 season, most recently receiving the No. 2 pick in the Pac-10 Coaches Poll. The Women of Troy already hold a No. 18 national preseason ranking and are the No. 4 team in the West Region.

The top recruiting class in the nation and a core group of talented returners has helped increase USC's selections for the 2005 season. The Women of Troy earned the No. 2 pick in the Pac-10 by one point over Stanford, holding USC in second behind top-ranked UCLA. The Trojans finished 9-9-1 overall in 2004 and placed eighth in the conference with a 3-6 mark.
