Chappell Falls in the Third Round of the U.S. Amateur

UCLA sophomore Kevin Chappell fell in the third round of match play at the 105th U.S. Amateur Championship at Merion Golf Club near Philadelphia, PA.
In his morning match, Chappell defeated David Luttenus 4 and 2 of Australia.
In the afternoon, he watched a three-hole lead evaporate against Mark Leon, a former star at Penn State who hails from Canada. Leon sank a 25-foot right-to-left putt on the final hole to win 1-up and advance to the quarterfinals.
