Rob Evans To Host Annual Charity Golf Tournament Sept. 27

ASU men's basketball coach Rob Evans will be hosting his eighth annual charity golf tournament this fall on Tuesday, September 27 at the Southern Dunes Private Golf Club in Maricopa. The tournament benefits Sun Devil Basketball and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley. Registration starts at 11 a.m., with the shotgun scramble start at 12:30 p.m. and awards following at the dinner.
Individual players may enter with a $300 donation. Foursomes may enter on two different options. The Par Foursome is available for $1,200. The Eagle Sponsor is also available for $1,800 with a special gift is given to each golfer and the company name is on a sign at the tee box. Hole Sponsors are $300. Each golfer will receive a shirt and shoes. Food and beverages are also provided. The deadline for registration is September 20. The BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF THE EAST VALLEY is a leading youth development agency that has been serving local youth since 1963. Nine branches and teen centers, together with an arts-based charter school, serve more than 14,000 youth annually in Apache Junction, Chandler, Gilbert, Guadalupe, Mesa, Tempe, and the Gila River Indian Community. Programs are offered after school and during the summer for youth, ages 6-18, in the areas of recreation, education, peer leadership, computer training and the arts. The Club has received national recognition for its efforts and is one of the leading Boys & Girls Clubs in the nation.
