The main doubles draw will feature 16 teams, of which 11 spots are already filled. The 64-player and 32-doubles team qualifying tournament takes place October 4-5. Feeding into the qualifying draw is another 64-player 32-team prequalifying tournament held at UCLA on October 1-2.
Hadzic (Split, Croatia), ranked 66th in the ITA preseason rankings, is entered in the qualifying singles draw as well as the prequalifying doubles draw along with incoming freshman Brymer. Nauenberg (Santa Cruz, Calif.) and Simpson (Vancouver B.C.) are each in the prequalifying singles championship and are paired together for the prequalifying doubles championship.
