Trojan Fan Fest Will Debut At USC's Sept. 17 Football Home Opener
Sept. 9, 2005
The first-ever Trojan Fan Fest, a fun-filled celebration outside the Coliseum at every USC home football game, will make its debut at the two-time defending national champion's Sept. 17 home opener against Arkansas.
Beginning three hours before every home kickoff in the area just east of the Coliseum peristyle known as Christmas Tree Lane, the Trojan Fan Fest will feature a wide variety of food, activities and entertainment for young and old alike. It will enhance the USC game experience and will provide an alternative (or addition) to tailgating in Exposition Park.
In addition to a food court and a Nike USC retail store, Trojan Fan Fest will include such activities as the:
--Verizon FiOS Experience
--Chevron Football Skills Challenge
-- U.S. Army Rock Climbing Wall
-- Sony 'Race to the Endzone' HDTV Sports Lounge
-- USC Credit Union 'Money Grab'
-- Photo opportunity at a giant USC helmet
-- Kicking contests at an inflatable field goal
-- Moon bounce for kids
Adjacent to the Trojan Fan Fest will be the Miller Lite Great Taste Zone. Open to fans 21 years of age and older, it will feature Miller beverages and a bank of Sony LCD televisions showing live college football games from around the country.
Admission to the Trojan Fan Fest and Miller Lite Great Taste Zone is free.
