WALNUT CREEK, Calif.--Wide receiver Robert Jordan of California, linebacker Dale Robinson of Arizona State and kicker Paul Martinez of Oregon have been named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Football Players of the Week.

Jordan, a sophomore from Hayward, Calif., played a major role in California's 56-17 Pac-10 victory at Washington. Jordan pulled in 11 receptions for 192 yards (17.5) and three touchdowns covering 9, 24 and 58 yards. The 192 receiving yards is the top performance in the Pac-10 so far this season. The Golden Bear offense amassed 557 yards total offense (286 rushing, 271 passing) and averaged 8.4 yards per play.

Robinson, a senior from Queens, N.Y., had a big game in Arizona State's loss to No. 5-ranked LSU in a game moved to Tempe as a result of the effects of Hurricane Katrina and with the proceeds going to relief funds. Robinson had a game-high 15 tackles, 11 solo, including 2.5 tackles for loss (-11), one quarterback sack (-9) and he forced a fumble.

Martinez, a junior from Danville, Calif. in just his second game kicking field goals for the Ducks, tied the Pac-10 single-game record for field goals made as he connected on six of six attempts in Oregon's 47-14 win against Montana. Martinez was good on three-pointers from 26, 40, 39, 37, 42 and 20 yards. That established a new Oregon record for field goals made in a game and tied the Pac-10 record (John Lee, UCLA vs. San Diego State, 1984). It is the second straight week Martinez earned Pac-10 special teams honors. He currently leads the nation in field goals per game after connecting successfully on 11-of-12 for the season.

Others nominated for offensive player of the week honors were running back Mike Bell of Arizona and quarterbacks Matt Moore of Oregon State, Alex Brink of Washington State, Drew Olson of UCLA, Kellen Clemens of Oregon and Sam Keller of Arizona State. Also nominated on defense were linebackers Keith Ellison of Oregon State, Dane Krogstad of Arizona and Justin London of UCLA, linemen Adam Braidwood of Washington State and Haloti Ngata of Oregon and cornerback Daymeion Hughes of California. Nominated for special teams play were kicker Alexis Serna of Oregon State, punter Danny Baugher of Arizona and return men Michael Bumpus of Washington State, T.J. Rushing of Stanford and Maurice Drew of UCLA, all of whom returned kicks for touchdowns.
