Weekend Preview: Stanford (2-2-1) is traveling east to take on Tennessee and Texas A&M at the Tennessee Tournament in Knoxville this weekend ... After a tough 1-1 tie versus Illinois and a 4-0 loss to second-ranked North Carolina, the Cardinal will look for a pair of wins on the road ... Stanford will face the Lady Vols on Friday at 8 p.m. (ET) and will take on the Aggies on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. (ET) ... Stanford vs. Tennessee: Stanford and Tennessee will be facing off for the second time in series history ... In the first meeting between the two squads, Stanford picked up a 2-0 win over the Lady Vols at the 2002 Santa Clara Adidas Classic.

Scouting the Volunteers: After defeating seventh-ranked Virginia last weekend, Tennessee earned its first win of the season and the second-biggest win in program history ... Tennessee (1-3-1) dropped its first three matches this season, including a 7-1 loss to North Carolina and a 3-2 overtime loss to Washington State, but rebounded with a win and a tie at the Virginia Nike Soccer Classic ... After scoring the game-winner with only 11 seconds left in regulation against UVA, Kylee Rossi was named Southeastern Conference Offensive Player and Freshman of the Week.

Stanford vs. Texas A&M: Sunday's match will be the eighth meeting between Stanford and Texas A&M ... The Cardinal own a 5-2 advantage over the Aggies, with the last meeting resulting in a 1-0 overtime victory for Stanford in 2002.

Scouting the Aggies: Texas A&M posted a 3-0 victory over East Carolina last weekend to improve to 3-1-1 on the season ... The Aggies will square off against two Pac-10 opponents at the Tennessee Tournament, as they take on Washington on Friday night before challenging Stanford on Sunday.

Preseason Points: The Pacific-10 Conference coaches voted Stanford to finish fourth this season, with the Cardinal receiving one vote for first place ... The Cardinal defense is anchored by senior tri-captain Hayley Hunt, a MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List candidate.
