Husky Golfers Head to Loaded Fall Preview

Seattle - the ninth-ranked Husky men's golf team will play at the Golfweek/PING Fall Preview this week at the Crosswater Golf Course in Sunriver, Ore. The 54-hole tournament starts Monday and runs through Wednesday.

This year's Fall Preview features nine of the teams ranked in the Golf Coaches Association of America's preseason top-10. Topping that list is defending national champion Georgia. Also in the field is second-ranked Oklahoma State, fourth-ranked UNLV, fifth-ranked Duke, sixth-ranked Georgia Tech, seventh-ranked BYU, eighth-ranked Wake Forest and 10th-ranked Arizona State. Florida is the only top-10 team not playing in this year's event.

Rounding out the field is Auburn, Augusta State, Kentucky, New Mexico, Portland and USC.

Washington tees off at 9:30 a.m. Monday and is paired with BYU and UNLV. The Husky lineup will include NCAA Champion James Lepp, Pac-10 champion Erik Olson, Alex Prugh, who tied for second at the Gopher Invitational, Joe Panzeri and Sterling Clark.
