Bush's Performance Against Oregon Earns Him Pac-10 Honors

USC junior tailback Reggie Bush was named Pac-10 Football Offensive Player of the Week for his performance at Oregon.
Bush accounted for 267 all-purpose yards in top-ranked USC's 45-13 road win at No. 24-ranked Oregon. The All-American rushed 20 times for 122 yards, had three receptions for 43 yards, returned three kickoffs 75 yards and had four punt returns for 27 yards. Bush scored two touchdowns, one on a 19-yard reception, the other an 11-yard run.The USC offense piled up 31 first downs, 278 yards rushing, 315 yards passing, 593 yards total offense and converted 10-of-14 third-down attempts. The Trojans only had to punt two times in the game.
It was his second 100-yard rushing game of 2005. He is currently third nationally in all-purpose running (212.0, first in Pac-10), tied for seventh in scoring (12.0, tied for second in Pac-10) and is 18th in rushing (111.0, third in Pac-10). He is averaging 10.6 yards on his 60 touches in 2005 (he has 636 all-purpose yards).
This is the fourth time in his career that Bush has been named Pac-10 Player of the Week.
Also honored as Pac-10 Defensive Player of the Week was Arizona State senior linebacker Jamar Williams.
