FSN Arizona To All-Access Look Into ASU Football
Sept. 26, 2005
Arizona State University football fans will be given an all-access look into the inner-workings of the Sun Devil football program on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at 6 & 10:30 p.m. when FSN Arizona airs Sun Devil Insider: A Week With The Devils.
In order to tell the story of what happens behind-the-scenes with the ASU football program during game week, the network was granted unprecedented access to the team by head coach Dirk Koetter for the five days leading up to last Saturday's Northwestern game.
The 30-minute documentary style program will take viewers where cameras have previously not been allowed, including pre-game in the locker room, weight room & study hall sessions, coaching staff planning meetings, the team hotel the night before and day of the game and in the team bus on the way to Sun Devil Stadium prior to the match-up with the Wildcats.
This special show will be seen in the 1.8 million households in Arizona and New Mexico that receive FSN Arizona and will then re-air to a national audience on FOX College Sports (FCS) on the FCS Pacific channel on Saturday, Oct. 1, at 8 a.m. FCS is a suite of three nationally distributed sports channels stocked with programming from all of the FSN regional sports networks and its affiliates. It is available nationwide in 40-50 million households in the nation's 25 largest cities.
FSN Arizona continues to televise the most regional sports action in the state, airing approximately 1,200 hours of original local programming a year. The network is the exclusive cable television home of the Phoenix Coyotes, Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Arizona Rattlers, University of Arizona & Arizona State University and the nightly Arizona Sports Report. The network is currently seen in 1.8 million households in Arizona & New Mexico and can also be seen across the country via home satellite services. Nationally, FSN reaches more than 81 million homes through its network of 20 regional sports channels.
