Jonathan Bornstein Named To College Soccer News Team Of The Week

UCLA senior midfielder Jonathan Bornstein (Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos HS) was selected to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week for the week ending Sept. 25.

Bornstein contributed to all three of UCLA's goals in a 3-0 shutout victory over UNLV on Sept. 25. He scored the game-winner in the 29th minute, assisted on Kamani Hill's goal in the 40th minute and then scored his second goal of the game in the 61st minute. Bornstein has scored four goals in the last three games and now leads the team in scoring with nine points and goals scored with four.

The Bruins, who are ranked No. 8 in this week's College Soccer News poll, open up Pac-10 play on Friday, Sept. 30 against No. 3 California.
