Schreefel, Dergal Help USC To 6th In Dick McGuire Invitational

Senior Tanya Dergal shot a team-best 1-under 71 while sophomore Dewi Schreefel shot a par 73 to lead the USC women's golf team during the final round of the Dick McGuire Invitational at the UNM Championship Course in Albuquerque, N.M., on Wednesday (Sept. 28).

The Trojans finished with a combined 294 for the day (+2) and 887 for the tournament, taking sixth place. Pepperdine won with a 3-under 873.

Schreefel was USC's highest overall finisher, tying for sixth at 217 (-2). Cho and sophomore Paolo Moreno finished tied for 24th at 223 (+4). Cho shot a 1-over 74 today while Moreno came in at 75.

Junior Veronica Feilbert finished tied for 41st (228) after posting a final-day 76 (+3) and finished tied for 45th (229).
