Corkery Leads Cardinal Foursome at All-American Championships

All-American KC Corkery, juniors James Pade and James Wan and freshman Matt Bruch will compete in the Polo Ralph Lauren Men's All-American Tennis Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma beginning with qualifying rounds on Monday, October 3.

The tournament, hosted by the University of Tulsa, includes 128-player and 64-doubles team qualifying tournaments October 3-5, which feed into the 64-player, 32-doubles team main drawwhich takes place Oct. 6-9. Players from the top-40 teams in the nation will participate in the tournament.

Corkery is seeded ninth in the main draw and will begin competition on Thursday, October 6. He will also team with Pade in the doubles competition. The top 75-players in the preseason ITA national singles rankings will participate in the event.

Bruch, Pade and Wan will play in the qualifying rounds that begin Monday, October 3. Pade, a junior from Woodside, Calif., will play Alex Schweizer of Auburn, while Bruch, a freshman from Lake Forest, Ill., making his Cardinal debut, will take on Dusan Tabak of Louisianna-Lafayette. Wan is the top seed in the qualifying tournament.
